TRIGGER WARNING – MENTION OF SEXUAL ASSAULT, MURDER ATTEMPTS, DEATH AND INJURY.
The #JusticeForYasmin Global campaign is a fight for justice.
And a deeply personal and factual account of 20+ years of the bullying and torture endured by British businesswoman and single mother Yasmin A. Choudhury (Happy), a whistleblower. Including the horror of having reported historical sexual assault in Bangladesh, and succeeded in obtaining a Court order that has ordered a Police investigation into the murder of her beloved late father. She is now facing the wrath of her orthodox tribal Muslim family. As well as the array of individuals, entities and organisations (many famous) who have derailed her work as a human rights campaigner.
There is huge concern Yasmin may be assassinated. As she is due to stand criminal trial in March 2019 after being summoned by a Court in Bangladesh which she says have been fabricated by her own blood family. You can read her Bangladeshi based lawyer’s statement (coming here soon). And why Yasmin believes this is a reprisal for reporting sex crimes and going on the hunt to find her father’s killers.
The campaign also proudly documents her real life trials and tribulations as a business leader who is a survivor of domestic violence, financial abuse and honour based violence. And living with a condition called Complex PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) – that has left her disabled as a result of life-long trauma. Done to her as a toddler, daughter, teenager, sister, partner, mother and employee.
Yasmin is also handling an array of legal proceedings against some of the biggest companies in the world (British Gas, Vodafone, Monster Jobs), as well as challenging the unethical conduct famous names in media, fashion and film making such as makers of Great British Bake off – Love Productions and former winner Begum Nadiya Hussain to Suzy Cameron and Nazrin Choudhury the Oscar nominated writer, producer and director. All because they chose to under-estimate her and hurt her projects. While also fighting fat cat debt collection units one of whom to go to court in England, for Money Claim, and without any legal help, Yasmin successfully won her case to strike out their vexatious claim, by being a litigant in person.
Sex Crime. During a business trip to Bangladesh in 2019, Yasmin, a Muslim woman, was sexually assaulted and an attempt to rape failed at the hands of her elderly male relative. Who to this day remains protected by a global syndicate of family and relatives many of whom claim to be devout Muslims. She was forced to stay silent and not report – after she was warned she may be killed by her witnesses. She then returned to the UK to seek advice from the British Govt, which she immediately did. And on the advice of her MP and British Metropolitan Police – she was told to report it to Bangladeshi police. Yasmin has since risked her life to report these sex crimes and in doing so, experienced first hand the number of attempts to assassinate her. And why today, she is actively campaigning for brown women to be supported through #BrownMeToo movement. Where voices such as hers are missing.
Father’s Murder. Yasmin has also successfully applied for the help of a Bangladeshi Court, where the Judge has ordered an investigation into her late father’s death whom she is convinced was murdered. As well as fighting for her inheritance shares, guaranteed to her as a Muslim woman from her late father’s estate and that of charities her late father left behind as beneficiaries.
In her day to day job, Yasmin is the CEO of her award winning luxury brand Lovedesh. She is a polymath: designer, professionally trained actress, a whistleblower, a businesswoman and a fearless campaigner of human rights. Working to improve the lives of some of the most destitute communities especially in her heritage country of Bangladesh.
She was born and bred in London. And with the help of her loyal followers on social media – is unflinching and immovable with regards to her ethics and integrity – which will explain why she is currently involved in so many disputes.

“My name is Yasmin A. Choudhury (Happy). I am a British business woman and the CEO of Lovedesh. A pioneering award winning British luxury fashion brand that funds human rights, anti-poverty and climate friendly projects. I am due to stand criminal trial in Bangladesh. In March 2024. I don’t know if I will return back to the UK, alive. And I may go to jail.
The people taking me to Court in Bangladesh are my own blood family. British citizens who have destroyed my charity projects in my office as well as my business so many times. They now claim they are upset about seeing #JusticeForYasmin TikTok videos. And have accused me of defamation. (To read more on her family, go here)
But I am innocent. And I believe they are doing this – to punish me. Because what they have not told the Court of Bangladesh is that I reported sexual assault and attempt to rape, at the hands of an elderly male relative in Bangladesh, whom they are protecting.
I have also successfully been granted an order by the Courts of Bangladesh to investigate my late father’s suspicious death almost 20 years ago. As I believe he was murdered by my own relatives. And I have filed legal cases against my family and their syndicate of relatives and associates who have been defrauding my late’s father’s assets, stolen my inheritance shares and refused to hand over monies he left behind for the poorest.
This blood family and a global syndicate of relatives I call The Ali Nagor Choudhurys (ANCs) – are choosing to punish me. Reprisals include false legal cases me, my innocent daughter and business associates of mine. Slandering me. Threatening me and destroying my business Lovedesh. For example I have been accused me of stealing two cows. My business associate was put into prison for the false charge of stealing paint cans with me and my daughter. All of which was cleared by the court. As well as accusing me of a breach of the peace, a legal suit that was filed by my relatives. What they haven’t told the Bangladeshi public, nor the British public nor the global public as well as the Bangladeshi courts is that there is an array of legal cases against them including the attempted murder me – in Bangladesh. Which is a criminal trial underway. As well as the extent of bribery and corruption as well as the slander and defamation and fraudulent activity involving my late fathers estate.
